Help with Tasks
Every little bit helps, and your support is greatly appreciated!
In-Person Help Hub
Welcome! I appreciate your willingness to offer support. To ensure we make the best use of your time and talents, please follow these steps:
-
Complete the Mutual Aid Form: I encourage friends, family, and neighbors to fill out my Mutual Aid Google Form to share what types of tasks you’re interested in and how often you’d like to help, even if it seems small. This form helps me understand your preferences and coordinate support effectively.
-
Book Your Visit: After completing the mutual aid form, use the embedded calendar below to schedule a time that works for you. Calendar blocks are set for one hour but can be flexible on my end based on your availability.
-
Review the Task List: Once you’ve booked your visit, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the task list and any additional instructions. This list will give you a current picture of what needs to be done. Feel free to use your initiative and address any other tasks or areas you notice that could use attention.

Examples of tasks include:
-
Cleaning
-
Organizing
-
Running errands
-
Helping with paperwork
Book Your Visit

How to People
-
Permission to Add Guests: Feel free to bring additional help if you'd like; the more, the merrier! Just let me know in advance so I can prepare accordingly.
-
Sarah's Energy: I might use the visit to complete some tasks myself or may need to rest. I appreciate your understanding and flexibility regarding how much I socialize during our time together.
-
Respectful Space: Please note that my home is an anti-diet, anti-ableist, pro-compassion space. This means we avoid judgments and unsolicited advice and practice consent when discussing sensitive topics. I appreciate your support in maintaining this positive environment.
-
COVID & Flu Safety: If you've been around others in the last few days, especially in higher-risk situations, please take a COVID test before visiting. If you’re unable to test, wearing a mask during your visit is an option to help protect everyone. I also have plenty of windows that can be opened to increase ventilation.
-
Reach Out: If this website is overwhelming or using the software isn’t convenient, please message me or someone close to me directly.
TL;DR
Can’t Help In Person?
If you’re unable to assist in person, there are still plenty of ways you can support virtually.
Emotional Support: I can’t guarantee that I’ll have big feelings to explore or that I’ll be fully available to listen at the exact moment we’ve scheduled. However, chances are good, me being me, that I'll be open to both my own emotional exploration and supporting you. Let’s chat and find out where we’re at.
Body Doubling: If you need someone to help you stay focused and motivated while working on tasks, virtual body doubling can be a great way to tackle projects together. You do your thing, I’ll do mine. We’ll cheer for each other’s wins.
Volunteer for Chronic Illness Management: Help with tasks such as scheduling and tracking healthcare appointments, organizing prescriptions and refills, updating personal health records, documenting symptoms, coordinating support, and updating self-care plans.
Volunteer for Surviving on No Income/Fundraising: Assist with budgeting, managing social media fundraising efforts, coordinating with food banks and community resources, tracking expenses and donations, managing donor communications, and providing acknowledgments.
Volunteer to Help with the Administrative Side of My Parent Coaching Business: THE DREAM IS ALIVE. Support tasks like content creation, copywriting, content scheduling, email campaigns, website updates (content and functionality), preparing template documents, refining workshops and webinars, ensuring legal compliance, curating articles, videos, guides related to parenting, coaching, and advocacy, and assembling recommended reading, templates, worksheets, toolkits, and training materials.

Okay, yeah, I'm tired just from writing that list though. :p
